U.S. Census and World Population Links
|
From the U.S. Census Bureau:
- The Population Division offers a page of "POPClocks" that show the latest
totals for U.S. and world
populations. They also link to Java versions of U.S. and world
population clocks so you can watch the numbers as they change.
The U.S. Gazetteer
searches for information on a place by ZIP code or name and
will generate a map using the Census' TIGER mapping system.
You can manipulate the map to show only what you want and then download the image you
create.
The Census Bureau ranked names appearing the
most frequently in 1990, including surnames
and female and male first
names.
