NORTH POTOMAC - Almost half of the state's Asian population lives in Montgomery County, where the 2000 census said the greatest number of Asian-Americans is in tract 7006.07, a typical upper-middle-income suburban enclave in North Potomac. The tract is bounded on the north by Darnestown Road, on the east and south by Travilah Road and on the west by Dufief Mill Road.
