This projection system in each
of the four committee hearing rooms allows for senators and others to view slide shows and other types of media presentations. The screen (above, right) at the front of the room receives a projection from the projector mounted in the ceiling (top left). This projector receives information from the speaker's podium, or other sources. Each senator also has a monitor on his desk (bottom left), which shows the same information being projected on the large screen. This is especially useful for the senators who sit in the front of the room and have their backs to the main screen.
