Obama's State of the Union Address Gets Mixed Reviews in Md.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- On and around the University of Maryland, College Park's campus, people gave mixed reviews to the president's first State of the Union address. President Obama's attempt to refocus his agenda and better explain himself to the American public resonated with some, but left others wanting more.

    Stephen Yoder, 33, is a doctoral student studying government and politics at the University of Maryland. He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pa. Todd Gentilcore, 21, is an English major at the University of Maryland from Annapolis, Md. Annie Pi, 19, is a freshman English and marketing major. Born in Canada, she moved to Montgomery County when she was 8.
               
    Toby Hlad, 31, is a master's student studying leadership and ethics at the University of Maryland. He is originally from Fort Thomas, Ky. Amarildo Damata, 42, is a resident of College Park. Tripp Kramer, 21, is a junior studying English at the University of Maryland. Kramer is from Baltimore.
