Same-Sex Marriage Debated in College Park

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - While state lawmakers debate whether gay couples should be allowed to marry, conversations on the issue are spilling over into other communities.
A poll taken last month by Gonzales Research shows Marylanders are fairly split on the issue, with 51 percent favoring gay marriage.
The Senate committee vote could come next Thursday.
