While he no longer cuts hair full-time in his salon, Puschert still plays his tenor sax.

"It was the only thing I ever excelled in," he says.

Puschert went on tour for five months beginning last November, putting 9,000 miles on his RV. He performed in places such as Branson, Miss., Texarcana, Texas, Palm Springs, Calif., and Las Vegas. Puschert says he played music about every day or every night during the tour.

"I'm still boogeying," he says. "I'm still blowing my horn."
