COLLEGE PARK, Md. - It's getting harder than ever to find a pay phone to call home. Public phones are becoming victim to the digital age.

Pay phones need to have 150 calls a month to cover the costs, said Sandy Arnette of Verizon Corp. Communications.

Verizon has removed 140,000 pay phones in the United States since 2007, Arnette said.
