Police call for The Thirsty Turtle to be shut down in the wake of four alcohol-fueled stabbings in College Park. Three of the victims were underage and had been allowed into the bar.

Thirsty Turtle Loses Its Liquor License After Hearing


The Prince George's County Liquor Board unanimously voted to revoke Thirsty Turtle's license at a hearing for an underage drinking incident that occurred Sept. 23.

Thirsty Turtle Surrenders Liquor License, Closes Its Doors


On the day the Prince George's County Liquor Control Board was to hear testimony on the Oct. 12 stabbings outside the Thirsty Turtle, the bar's owner, Alan Wanuck, voluntarily surrendered its liquor license.
